GPS Summer Camp
Greensboro Project Space is the School of Art at UNCG’s off-campus contemporary art center located in Downtown Greensboro. GPS has quickly become the premier space to view contemporary art in Greensboro. Throughout the year, GPS programs hold numerous exhibitions, workshops, performances, and lectures by renowned artists from around the world.
Our 2018 Summer Camp focuses on visual art through dynamic cross disciplinary programing that involves music, theatre, dance, writing, science and technology through the lense of art. Guest artists and faculty come to share their expertise through in-depth exploration of various art practices. The curriculum allows students to dive into a medium while thinking critically about the work that they produce. The camp curriculum was designed by UNCG MFA students through their assistant-ship at GPS.
The camp is for ages 9 - 13, grades 4-7. Each week has a morning and afternoon course, and is from 9am - 4pm.
