Policies and Procedures
Schedule
The GPS Summer Camp is from 9am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday.
Each week has a morning course from 9am - 12pm, and an afternoon course from 1pm - 4pm.
Lunch is from 12pm - 1pm.
Age Groups
GPS Summer Camp is for ages 9 - 13, grades 4 - 7
Parking, Drop-off, and Pick-up
Convenient student drop off is located in-front of Greensboro Project Space. Look out for our parking attendants each morning. Visit this page to see our exact location.
Drop off is from 8:30am - 9am.
Pick up is from 4pm - 4:30pm.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided and available from the following hubs: Hairston Middle, Northeast High, Northern High, Southeast High, Southwest High, Smith High. Sign up for bus services on the registration form.
Lunch, and Snack
Please bring a water bottle to camp!
Lunch is from 12pm - 1pm.
Lunch will be provided by School Nutrition Services.
Due to food allergies, sharing of snacks is prohibited.
No tree nuts are allowed at the GPS Summer Camp.
Attire
GPS Summer Camp can get messy! Please send your student to GPS in clothing that can withstand art making.
Cancellation Policy
GPS reserves the right to cancel any camps with low enrollment within a week or more of the class. Funds are transferable to another course, or will be 100% refunded.
Refund Policy
No refunds are available prior to one week before the class begins. Refunds are transferable to another course, or 50% refundable.
We are unable to initiate a refund after the course begins.
Other Policies
GPS will under no circumstance release a student to a babysitter, nanny, other guardian, or friend unless we have verbal permission from primary guardian. Call Adam at (845) 405-9159 to make arrangements.
Unless you have specific permission, parents may not stay during the camp. This can be distracting for students.
If a student misbehaves, GPS will call the parents. If the problem persists, GPS will call the parents to pick the student up.
