For many years, Lah Htoo Boh has been fascinated with the portraiture of the High Renaissance. From Leonardo da Vinci to Jan van Eyck, 15th-century art has influenced portraiture and society since then. Studying Renaissance portraitures has inspired Lah to create a work with the extension of their own technique and style. Lah's portrait drawings consist of ornaments, flowers, vines, animals, characters from movies, and abstracted shapes around the subjects to create a static pleasing image. Carefully composing each element's composition around the canvas until satisfied and then finalized.

Lah has also become interested in digital painting; this platform allows the artist to have complete control of the canvas and as well as unlimited resources for drawing. He has begun to create a fantasy world as his ongoing portfolio. Lah has created and named the land of “Vannu”, with a series of characters that live on that land with their respective roles as The People of Vaanu. In doing so, it has given him the opportunity to improve his artwork and the ability to explore the imagination.
