Undergraduate Senior Exhibition: Tomás Philips & Mary Martinez

Tomás Philips and Mary Martinez are undergraduate students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Tomas is currently a senior BA Studio Art major. His recent work has been exploring a process of creating automatic and imaginative digital paintings that manifest themselves into odd realities.

Mary is a senior BFA student with a concentration in Drawing and Printmaking. Her work has been an ongoing examination of polarized states of mental health and the process of accepting the challenges as well as the rewards that extreme states can bring. Mary visualizes this concept through self-portraiture as well as narrative scenes of personal experiences of the artist and others.
