Julia Caston and Kate Robinson

Opening on Friday, May 26th from 6pm - 7:30pm


Artists Julia Caston and Kate Robinson will be creating an immersive installation made of found and recycled materials. Hours to view the installation-in progress are by appointment and can be scheduled at 612-685-1399. The installation will be up through Friday, May 26.


Kate Robinson

Kate Robinson received her BA from Queens University and MFA from UNCG. She has shown nationally, including at the Weatherspoon Art Museum and AIR Gallery in Brooklyn. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at High Point University.


Julia Caston

Julia Caston received a BA in Art History from Barnard College and her MFA with a concentration in social practice and sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has shown her work nationally and internationally and has participated in artist residencies in places such as Franconia Sculpture Park and the Inverness County Centre for the Arts in Nova Scotia. She is the co-founder of the nonprofit Minneapolis Art Lending Library in Minnesota, an organization that lends out original artwork to the public. As a creator of socially engaged work, Caston seeks to connect to her fellow human beings through her art-making.
