Some Thoughts from Jason
During the 4 weeks at GPS, I’ll be capitalizing on the gift of space to try out some ideas I’ve had simmering on the back burner but didn’t have time or location to make. I plan to use all four galleries for several different projects; I’ll move between them as the work demands. I’ll be experimenting with video projection and multi-channel sound installation; transforming a room into a three-dimensional drawing using experimental drawing techniques, thread, paper, and wire; making a wall installation of scrap wood assemblage; deconstructing a previous body of work and reinstalling part of it anew; and building a fort for/with an extra-dimensional being.
