The Vanguard alumnae are hosting a special evening at the Greensboro Project Space exhibiting the photography of North Carolina visionary and State Normal and Industrial School graduate Bayard Wootten.

Join us for an open house format on Thursday, March 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Enjoy light food and live music, and appreciate modern prints of Bayard Wootten's work from the first half of the 20th century from The North Carolina Collection Photographic Archives (UNC-Chapel Hill.)

Our special guest Stephen Fletcher, Photographic Archivist at UNC-Chapel Hill, will be giving lectures on Bayard Wootten's life and work at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.


Admission is free and complimentary parking will be available near the venue.
