St. Mary's School: Exploration Day

03/20/2017 | By: Greensboro Project Space

Share

In an effort to emphasize the unique and diverse backgrounds of the Saint Mary's School student body, Greensboro Project Space has curated an eye-opening project for Exploration Day in which the girls will have the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece of fibers art with local fibers artist Paige Van Zile. Students will participate in creating a large fiber weaving which will then be dyed using natural colors found in the countries and regions represented in the Saint Mary's student body. The final piece will represent the interesting network of journeys that have led these girls to meet at one spot in Raleigh, North Carolina.
