Ménagerie du Macabre is like walking into a cabinet of curiosities: a grotesque collection of strange and captivating arrangements most would find entrancing! Can even Death be a thing of beauty? Witness The Lure of the Mysterious, giving life to the unliving, come take a journey into the mind of the Artist known simply as "ASHES."

Ashes aka Ashe Smith is currently a Junior at UNCG's School of Art. Born in Durham, NC in 1987, Ashe is a mother of a 9 year old son, and a house full of animals. Her and her partner enjoy working together to help save the bee population by owning 2 hives and growing pollinator friendly plants.
