April 22nd, 7pm - 9pm

All of Codey Gallas's work acts as short stories that have had major impacts on my life such as, my grandfather’s death, learning who and what god is, what it means to be intimate, and what it means to engage with nature. All of these big questions have left an impression on my life. Codey's work deals with memory, personal experience, the viewer’s experience, and the conflict between the real and the artificial. While all the works are based on my own personal experiences, the viewer has their own separate interpretation, an experience of curiosity and confrontation.
