The item I have chosen to play for my non-cast is the ted talk "We should all be feminists" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I choose this video because it is an honest discussion on Feminism and what it is like to be a woman in both Nigeria and the USA. It also holds the famous poem that was used in the Beyonce song Flawless. I have always loved this talk and its something that made me first began to consider myself a feminist.

My name is Laura Melrose and I am a feminist, illustrator and designer. I hope to graduate from UNCG and pursue a career in design where I will create work in a visual and approachable way that gives a voice to causes that need it.
