 Let's Talk Over Coffee

April 15th, 6pm - 9pm

My solo exhibition will feature a project which I have been working on for the two years I have been at UNCG, "Trophies for Artists." To win at art and receive a trophy (example featured above), a participant must

1) identify as an artist
2) buy me a cup of coffee
3) talk to me for 20 minutes

I have made almost 40 trophies in Greensboro as well as at an artist residency at the Inverness County Center for the Arts in Nova Scotia. The exhibition will feature 27 trophy-sculptures as well as an award ceremony for the trophy recipients at 7:00 PM on April 15.

Next door will be a solo exhibition by my MFA colleague, the talented painter Kate Gordon.

Mr. Schatz will DJ the reception.
